Description

Our real estate team is rapidly expanding and we’re in need of a full-time real estate accountant! You’ll keep our financial records organized by reviewing accounts payable and receivable and preparing detailed account reconciliations. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves putting things in order and wants to take charge of implementing efficient accounting protocols. Responsibilities

  • Communicate with all vendors, partners, and staff regarding payments and financial records to ensure bills are paid promptly.
  • Post detailed journal entries to the general ledger to streamline the reconciliation process.
  • Obtain signatures for checks and print and distribute checks as needed to properly facilitate all incoming and outgoing payments.
  • Prepare our books for monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Review accounts payable and receivable regularly to ensure every invoice and expense report is accurate.

Qualifications

  • Effective communicator with a collaborative approach and the ability to present data insights to leadership.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in ROI analysis and forward-looking financial planning.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks.
  • Experience in the real estate industry preferred.
  • Able to write to and speak with vendors and clients effectively.
  • A background in accounting or finance is valuable, but not required.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Compensation

$36,000 - $48,000 yearly
