Leading national law firm in Birmingham City Centre is seeking a senior Commercial Development lawyer with 8+ PQE to lead complex development matters for a prestigious national client base.

The role covers acquisitions and disposals of real estate, development transactions, landlord/tenant, asset management and finance work, with strong progression and earnings potential.

Qualifications

• 8+ PQE in Commercial Property/Development law.
• Experience with acquisitions and disposals of real estate, development sites and investment properties.
• Ability to manage landlord/tenant, asset management and real estate finance matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle acquisitions and disposals of freehold/leasehold real estate including development sites.
• Manage commercial development transactions—site acquisitions, development agreements, options and easements.
• Oversee landlord/tenant, asset management and related real estate finance work.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to growth of the Birmingham team.

I'm working with a leading national law firm looking to grow its Real Estate team in Birmingham City Centre with the appointment of a Commercial Development Legal Director.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 8+ PQE Commercial Property/Development Solicitor to join a highly regarded team, working on high-quality and complex development matters for an impressive national client base.

The role will include:

• Acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold real estate, including commercial development sites and investment properties
• Commercial development transactions, including site acquisitions, development agreements, conditional contracts, options, overage arrangements and easements
• Landlord and tenant and asset management matters
• Investment, portfolio and real estate finance transactions
• Developing key client relationships and playing an active role in the continued growth of the Birmingham team
