Heitman seeks a Portfolio Analyst to support European real estate investments, portfolio modelling, and investor reporting. You will work with Portfolio Managers, Asset Management, Finance and Investor Relations across Europe to drive value through rigorous analysis.

The role emphasizes financial modelling, risk assessment and disciplined portfolio management, with opportunities in fundraising and governance coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Mathematics, Engineering or another highly analytical discipline.
• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience within real estate private equity or related investment environments.
• Strong understanding of real estate investment fundamentals and fund structures.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills with underwriting and valuation knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to challenge assumptions and develop independent investment views.
• Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and presentation skills; exceptional communication.
• High attention to detail; proactive, self-motivated and able to work across geographies.

Responsabilités

• Support Portfolio Manager in day-to-day portfolio management and investment strategy.
• Undertake fund-level analysis including portfolio construction and risk assessment.
• Monitor portfolio performance against plans, budgets and underwriting assumptions.
• Assist in evaluating portfolio initiatives to drive value and performance.
• Evaluate investment opportunities with rigorous analysis and strategic fit.
• Prepare materials for Investment Committee approvals and fundraising efforts.
• Coordinate with Europe-based teams for acquisitions, financing and dispositions.
• Review asset-level plans to ensure alignment with fund objectives.
• Support investor relations and quarterly/annual reporting processes.
• Act as link between Portfolio Management, Investment, Asset Management, Finance and IR teams.
