Job summary

Brio Real Estate (UK) Ltd, located in London, seeks a Finance & Operations Analyst to support loan servicing, onboarding, and day-to-day operations for a diverse commercial real estate portfolio. You will handle new asset onboarding, remittance processing, and ongoing cash reconciliation with a high standard of accuracy.

The role requires 3–5 years in loan servicing, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or related discipline (CPA a plus).
• 3-5 years of loan servicing experience in commercial real estate, portfolio accounting, or public accounting.
• Experience across real estate finance structures - senior loans, mezzanine loans, intercreditor agreements, securitisations.
• Strong contract review and negotiation experience; ability to interpret and simplify complex legal and credit documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with working knowledge of Word, Adobe, and standard office tools.
• Proven ability to manage time-sensitive, high-volume transaction workflows with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable liaising directly with servicers, asset managers, and financing counterparties.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, able to juggle multiple transactions and deadlines at once.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and personally accountable, taking ownership of tasks with minimal oversight.
• Adaptable and decisive, able to reprioritize quickly as deals and market conditions shift.
• Team player who can both contribute and lead in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Review asset collection information from servicers for accuracy and alignment with system accrual.
• Follow-up on missing payments and confirm accrual reasonableness.
• Compare lending invoices to system records and resolve discrepancies before payment release.
• Approve and book monthly and quarterly servicer remittance information.
• Review payoff information prior to repayments and record activity in the system.
• Prepare wire memos for draws, expenses, and intercompany funds movements.
• Reconcile daily cash activity with system records.
• Attend pre-close meetings and onboard new assets and liabilities into the system.
• Review loan modification documents and update terms in the system.
• Interact with servicers, asset managers, and financing counterparties.
• Coordinate work with offshore operations and integrate into Brio workflows.
• Assist with KYC requests from servicers and counterparties.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly portfolio analytics for senior management.
• Participate in bi-weekly team calls and weekly investment vehicle meetings.
