Goldman Sachs is seeking an experienced data scientist to lead AI and analytics for the Real Estate investment platform. You will bridge investment professionals and technical teams, turning investment questions into executable analyses and communicating insights to drive value creation.

The role partners with Deal Teams and asset management to apply data-driven models across origination, due diligence, asset management, and value creation.

Qualifications

• MSc, PhD, or equivalent degree in a quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years applying data science, ML, AI, or advanced analytics with measurable impact.
• Strong programming in Python and SQL, building robust analytical solutions.
• Deep understanding of statistical modelling, ML, predictive analytics, experimental design.
• Experience translating requirements for senior stakeholders and communicating findings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Data Science lead for Real Estate investing platform across lifecycle.
• Identify high-value opportunities where data science and AI improve decisions and performance.
• Translate questions into analytical problems; present outputs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead development of data-driven models and AI-enabled solutions.
• Leverage diverse datasets to generate investment insights and underwrite analysis.
• Collaborate with portfolio teams to implement data/AI initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Scale analytics for broader investment sectors and redeploy solutions periodically.
• Stay current with AI/ML advancements and drive adoption across platform.
