Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Cost Manager to join our Real Estate team in the Birmingham area, with potential travel to Midlands sites. You will work with clients, conservators, architects and engineers to deliver best value for money through qualitative and commercial insight.

The role suits individuals with a strong cost management or PQS background and an outgoing, collaborative approach to guide contractors and clients on iconic Birmingham projects.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering high quality cost management/quantity surveying services across full lifecycle.
• Professionally qualified (RICS or similar).
• Degree or HNC level qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist on feasibility studies and procurement reporting.
• Estimate and cost plan, present final cost plan.
• Tendering and procurement, manage pre-qualification stage.
• Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
• Carry out cost checks and valuations on larger projects.
