Job summary

Interlink Talent Solutions is seeking a junior Real Estate Solicitor to join a leading national practice in Cambridge, focusing on high-quality development work.

You will assist on development projects, draft option agreements and related documents, conduct title reviews and due diligence, and support landlord and tenant work, with mentoring and clear progression. Hybrid working and a competitive salary are offered.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a junior Real Estate Solicitor to join a leading national practice in Cambridge, with a particular focus on high-quality development work.

Responsibilities

• Assist on significant development projects, including acquisitions, disposals and strategic land arrangements.
• Prepare and negotiate option agreements, conditional contracts, promotion agreements and related property documents.
• Undertake title reviews, property due diligence, searches and pre-contract enquiries, providing clear reports on key issues.
• Support a wider spread of commercial property work, including leases, agreements for lease and other landlord and tenant matters.
• Work closely with clients and colleagues across planning, construction and other specialist teams to progress transactions efficiently.

Requirements

• A qualified solicitor with up to 2 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE), with relevant commercial real estate experience.
• A good technical foundation in property law and a genuine interest in building expertise in development work.
• Confident drafting, communication and problem-solving skills, with careful attention to detail.
• An organised approach to managing competing deadlines and taking responsibility for individual workstreams.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, with an interest in using legal technology to improve service delivery.
• Salary: From £63,000, depending on experience.
