Job summary

Aztec Group is seeking a Fund Accountant in Real Assets to carry out routine accounting under the supervision of the Financial Reporting Manager. You’ll support bookkeeping for funds and related structures, prepare investor reports and statements, and assist with audits and tax returns.

The role emphasizes accuracy, IFRS/Lux GAAP awareness and collaboration across teams. Hybrid working in Southampton is offered with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance is required.
• ACCA or ACA study with part-qualification preferred.
• 2–4 years relevant experience in Real Assets is desirable.
• Lux GAAP/IFRS knowledge is beneficial.
• Strong computer literacy and regulatory reporting exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping of funds, management companies and fund structures.
• Assist with accounting tasks including preparation, reconciliation and investor reports.
• Handle routine audit queries and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and reconcile periodic bank statements and tax returns.
• Maintain Yardi, eFront and Excel working papers for bookkeeping.
