Job summary

Academics in partnership with a number of high-achieving secondary schools across Reading are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students and teachers in the classroom. You will assist with lesson preparation, support individuals or small groups, reinforce learning, promote positive behaviour, and help students stay focused throughout the day.

Start date September; hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm; pay £93-£110 per day.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
• Support individuals or small groups who require extra help
• Reinforce learning by explaining tasks and concepts
• Encourage students to maintain focus
• Support students outside the classroom where necessary
• Promote positive behaviour in line with the school's policy
