Voyage Care in York is seeking compassionate, hands-on Support Workers to help people gain independence in daily life within a friendly, supportive team.

You will assist with life skills, community access, and daily activities, fostering confidence and social engagement while delivering person-centred care across varied shifts.

No two days are the same, with opportunities to learn, grow and make a real difference in people’s lives.

Typical Shifts are: Mixed shifts usually from 8 am and 10 pm

We're on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service in York is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, , encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the local community, the next you could be unwinding with them at service.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
