Job summary

Morson Edge in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Controls & Commissioning Engineer to support PLC/HMI software, FAT, Pre-FAT, iFAT and commissioning activities across projects in the UK, Turkey and Vietnam. The role involves supporting hydraulic power unit packages and CAFS / INERT fire suppression control panels, including software readiness, controlled software updates, testing and issue resolution.

Travel to supplier and project locations is required; hybrid working with minimum 3 days

Qualifications

Job Description: Controls & Commissioning Engineer (PLC, FAT & Commissioning Support)

Senior Controls & Commissioning Engineer to support PLC / HMI software, FAT, Pre-FAT, iFAT and commissioning activities across projects, supplier facilities and project locations in the UK, Turkey and Vietnam. The role will support Hydraulic Power Unit packages and CAFS / INERT fire suppression control panels, including software readiness, controlled software updates, Cause & Effect Matrix verification, functional testing, troubleshooting and commissioning support. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Siemens and/or Rockwell PLC experience, HMI / SCADA capability, FAT/SAT delivery experience, functional safety awareness and the ability to work directly with engineering, project, supplier and client teams to close critical controls issues before they impact project milestones.

• FAT, Pre-FAT and iFAT execution
• Commissioning and operational support
• Cause & Effect verification
• Functional testing and issue resolution
• Controlled software updates and configuration management
• Supplier and customer technical support

The role is intended to provide practical engineering support during design verification, FAT readiness, commissioning and software issue closure activities.
