Job summary

JAM in Norwich is seeking a hands-on Controls & Commissioning Engineer to support testing and commissioning of specialist equipment and control systems, including Siemens PLC/HMI, FATs, SATs and field commissioning.

You will perform I/O and loop checks, read P&IDs and schematics, and work with suppliers and clients during testing, with occasional travel to Singapore, Vietnam & Turkey.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Controls, Automation, Instrumentation or Commissioning.
• Experience with WinCC.
• PLC programming and fault-finding.
• FAT, SAT and hands-on commissioning experience.
• Experience with I/O and loop checks.
• Able to read P&IDs and control drawings.
• Experience with ATEX / hazardous environments.

Responsibilities
