Job summary

Bennett motor services in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose, service and repair private and light commercial vehicles.

You will inspect brakes, engines, steering, suspension, electrical and hybrid/EV systems, carry out MOT preparation and maintain accurate records. Applicants should have Level 2/3 Diploma, 3+ years' hands-on garage experience, and proficiency with diagnostic equipment, with a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

  • Formal qualification: Level 2 or 3 Diploma / National Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in a professional garage.
  • Proficient with modern digital diagnostic equipment and multi-brand tooling.
  • Knowledge of petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric vehicle systems.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and maintain high safety/quality standards.
