Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver for a long-term position in Wimbledon. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering full-time work with training provided.

Duties include delivering and collecting skips, operating the skip vehicle safely, carrying out vehicle checks, paperwork, and providing professional customer service. PPE provided; weekly pay; local consultant support.

Qualifications

• Category C/Class 2 licence required.
• At least six months' Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Professional, reliable approach with good communication.
• Commitment to safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting skips in the local area.
• Operate the skip vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Follow road transport and health and safety regulations.
• Provide professional customer service at delivery and collection sites.
• Report any vehicle defects or operational issues promptly.

Job description

The Best Connection is recruiting an experienced

Class 2 Driver for a long-term position with our established client in Wimbledon.

This is an excellent

temp-to-perm opportunity, offering full-time work and the chance to secure a permanent position. Previous skip-driving experience is not required, as full training will be provided.

Duties include for Class 2 Skip Driver:

• Delivering and collecting skips throughout the local area
• Operating the skip vehicle safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Completing all required paperwork
• Following road transport and health and safety regulations
• Providing professional customer service at delivery and collection sites
• Reporting any vehicle defects or operational issues promptly

Driver requirements for Class 2 Skip Driver:

• Valid UK

Category C/Class 2 driving licence

• At least six months' recent Class 2 driving experience
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A reliable and professional approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A strong commitment to safe working

Skip-driving experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

• £18.00 per hour
