Job summary

GXO Logistics Ltd in Warrington is hiring a full-time, permanent 7.5T Delivery Driver to join our Home Delivery team. You will work on a 3-week rotating shift pattern, delivering products to customer homes on a 48-hour week.

DBS clearance is required for all successful candidates. The role includes tachograph compliance, vehicle checks, and safe delivery and installation of items, with extensive benefits and progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in line with road and vehicle law.

• Complete tachographs in compliance with requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure vehicle and stock are secured at all times.

7.5T Driver Warrington

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent 7.5T Delivery Driver, to join our Home Delivery team in Warrington, WA2 7NT.

You’ll be working on a full time, permanent basis on a 3 week rotating shift pattern: Week 1, Monday to Thursday. Week 2, Wednesday to Saturday. Week 3, split Monday/Tuesday then Friday/Saturday (4 working days) contracted to work 48 hours per week, with the start time window between 05:00 and 06:30 you will be responsible for delivering products to customer homes.

All successful candidates will require a DBS clearance.

What you’ll do on a typical day

• Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in full compliance with road traffic and vehicle legislation
• Deliver and installing furniture items, ensuring all products are handled correctly, including some hand balling involved
• Collect and accurately log product returns during deliveries
• Complete tachographs in compliance with legal and company requirements
• Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and promptly report any defects
• Ensuring the vehicle and stock are always properly secured
