Job summary

Tunbridge Wells Care Centre, part of CARE CONCERN GROUP LIMITED, is seeking a Care Assistant to deliver person-centred care and support residents with daily living activities. You will work as part of a compassionate team to ensure dignity, independence and comfort for up to 70 residents in a welcoming setting.

Full training and ongoing development are provided, with a flexible schedule that includes days and nights on a contracted 36-hour week.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Good communication and teamwork are important.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as personal care and mobility.
• Follow care plans and monitor changes in condition to support safe, responsive care.
• Help create a warm, respectful environment and support emotional wellbeing.

Job description

Tunbridge Wells Care Centre is a bright, modern home in a residential area of Royal Tunbridge Wells, offering person-centred nursing, dementia and palliative care for up to 70 residents. The home features spacious ensuite rooms, wheelchair-accessible facilities, welcoming communal areas, a dedicated hair salon and large landscaped gardens, all supported by a compassionate team committed to kindness, dignity and comfort.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.32 per hour
• Contracted to 36 hours per week - Days & Nightsavailable
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
