Job summary

Manpower UK in Toomebridge is seeking General Operatives for a busy Fridge Processing Plant. You will help sort appliances, safely dismantle components, and support recycling workflows on a day or night shift. Training provided, PPE supplied, and opportunities to grow within a leading sustainability business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in recycling or related environments is desirable.
• Mechanical aptitude or experience dismantling equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to operate machinery or willingness to undertake training.
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
• Physically fit with manual handling and lifting duties.
• Team player with good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Sort refrigerators, washing machines, tumble dryers and other appliances into correct recycling streams.
• Safely dismantle appliances and remove recyclable components such as compressors, motors and copper.
• Operate processing and shredding machinery safely and efficiently.
• Carry out quality inspections on incoming materials.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Report equipment faults and safety concerns promptly.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Location - Toomebridge

Day Shift: £12.79 per hour

Night Shift: £18.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities
