Job summary

Talent RockIt Ltd is seeking experienced Print Finishers, Guillotine Operators or Bindery Operators in Wiltshire. The role covers a continental triple-shift pattern (average 40 hours per week) and involves setting up bindery equipment including folders, guillotines and binding machines.

You will work to high quality standards, read production specs, and help ensure timely despatch of finished products. Training and retraining opportunities are available for relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a print production or bindery environment preferred
• Knowledge of bindery equipment operation and finishing processes
• Ability to read and understand production specifications and work instructions
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Committed to high standards and working under pressure

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery to produce jobs in line with job bag instructions
• Allocate tasks to crew members (If applicable)
• Keep the work area tidy and ensure machines are in good order
• Ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner and in line with despatch instructions
• Follow company Health, Safety and environmental procedures

Print Finishers & Bindery Operators

Job Type: Full time/Permanent

Shifts: Treble Shift Pattern (Average 40 hours per week 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am)

Location: Wiltshire

Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum plus Overtime

One of the UK's leading print groups has the opportunity for experienced Print Finishers, Guillotine Operators or Bindery Operators to join their team.

Working a Continental Triple shift system, you will be responsible for managing the operating bindery equipment including folders, guillotines and binding machines.

You will be responsible for producing finished products to the highest quality and as efficiently as the job and machinery will allow. If you have similar experience with print finishing or binding in a comparable environment, re-training will be considered.

Competencies

• Previous experience in a print production or bindery environment preferred
• Knowledge of bindery equipment operation and finishing processes
• Ability to read and understand production specifications and work instructions

Duties include

• Set up machinery to produce jobs in line with job bag instructions.
• Allocate tasks to crew members (If applicable)
• Keep the work area tidy and machinery in good order to ensure all work is correctly labeled and quarantine procedures are followed.
• Ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner and are inline with despatch instructions
• Ensure Company Health, safety and environmental procedures are followed.
