Job summary

Coloredge UK is seeking an experienced Large Format Print Finisher to join our production team. You will finish, prepare, and quality-check a wide range of large format printed materials, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.

You will work closely with print and production colleagues, operate finishing equipment including Zund cutters, guillotines, and laminators, and maintain high standards of quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Finish large format materials including banners, posters, signage, and exhibition graphics.

• Apply vinyl graphics to substrates and surfaces.
• Measure accurately and ensure finishing meets specs.
• Inspect colour, quality, alignment and presentation of finished products.
• Package finished work safely for collection, delivery, or installation.
• Maintain a clean, safe production environment.
• Work as part of a team and independently on individual jobs.
• Identify and report production or quality issues promptly.

Large Format Print Finisher

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Large Format Print Finisher to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for finishing, preparing, and quality-checking a wide range of large format printed materials, ensuring every job is completed accurately, efficiently, and to a high professional standard. You will work closely with the print and production teams to ensure finished products meet customer specifications and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Finish large format printed materials including banners, fabrics, posters, signage, exhibition graphics, vinyl, wallpaper, window graphics, and display materials.
• Operate finishing equipment such as cutting equipment (Zund), guillotines, laminators, cutting tables, and vinyl application tools.
• Trim, cut, crease, stretch fabrics, fold, mount, laminate, eyelet, and assemble printed products as required.
• Apply vinyl graphics and printed media to a variety of substrates and surfaces.
• Carry out accurate measurements and ensure all finishing work meets job specifications.
• Inspect finished products for colour, print quality, trimming, alignment, defects, and overall presentation.
• Identify and report production or quality issues promptly.
• Package finished work safely and securely for collection, delivery, or installation.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe production environment.
• Complete work within agreed deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Follow company health and safety procedures and operating instructions.
• Assist with general production duties when required.
• Work as part of a team while also being capable of managing individual jobs independently.
