Job summary

Voyage Care in Titchfield is seeking a caring support worker to help adults live independently. You’ll provide personal care, assist with medications, cooking, and daily activities, and accompany residents to appointments and activities.

You’ll work mostly in one-to-one and group settings within the home and local community, maintaining health and safety, and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality care. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate approach to adults living independently.
• Confident in working without direct supervision.
• Good communication with residents, families and colleagues.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and clarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with medications and daily activities.
• Assist with cooking, cleaning and routine household tasks.
• Attend medical appointments and participate in key worker sessions.
• Lead activities and support both one-to-one and group engagement in the home and community.

Our residential service in Titchfield offers a welcoming and friendly environment where you'll support adults to live fulfilling and independent lives. The role includes supporting with personal care, medication, cooking, cleaning, attending medical appointments, key worker sessions, leisure activities, and house and team meetings. A significant part of the role involves providing support both one-to-one and in group settings within the local community.

We're looking for a caring and compassionate individual who is confident working independently and committed to delivering high-quality support. You'll be comfortable supporting adults who may display verbal or physical behaviours that challenge, using a range of communication methods, including supporting non-verbal individuals. You'll also take responsibility for maintaining health and safety within the home, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities to support your career development.

Please note that this service has limited public transport links, particularly at weekends, so a full UK driving licence would be essential.
