Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a well-established UK manufacturer. You will support a modern, highly automated plant, performing electrical and mechanical fault finding to minimise downtime and drive reliability as part of a proactive engineering team.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified maintenance engineer or technician.
• Strong electrical bias with mechanical fault-finding capability.
• Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipment.
• Maintain and repair ancillary equipment, chillers, compressors, dryers, robotic systems.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
• Respond effectively to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Contribute to a proactive engineering culture focused on safety, quality and operational excellence.
• Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications and reliability projects.

We're looking for a

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability and performance of a modern manufacturing plant. Working as part of a team of experienced engineers and technicians, you'll play a key role in reducing downtime, improving equipment performance and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.

• Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipment.


• Maintain and repair ancillary equipment, chillers, compressors, dryers, robotic systems.


• Complete planned preventative maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability.


• Respond effectively to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.

What We're Looking For
