Job summary

Kids Planet Darlington is seeking a Room Leader to lead a nursery room, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with EYFS. You will guide a team, foster collaboration and support children’s learning and development.

The role requires Level 3 in early years, strong safeguarding knowledge, and a commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing across the setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 3 qualified in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with EYFS.
• Support and guide the team, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and promoting development.
• Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring individual needs are met and learning is supported.
