Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking dedicated Support Workers at The Old Post Office in Chesterfield to help adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs live more independently. You’ll join a caring, hands-on team delivering personal care, life skills coaching and community activities in a welcoming supported-living setting.

You’ll work shifts across days, evenings and weekends, supporting people to engage with local services, socialise, and pursue goals in a safe, respectful environment.

Job description

Typical Shifts are Monday to Sunday and a mixture of: 07:30-14:30 & 14:30-21:30 or 07:30-21:30

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

The Old Post Office, our supported living service in Chesterfield is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. We support 9 adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
