Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service in Sunderland is seeking warm, caring and compassionate individuals to empower people with learning disabilities and mental health support needs to live independently and fulfill life in the community.
You will help clients recognize their strengths, support daily living, personal care, budgeting and the administration of prescribed medications while promoting safety and participation in the community. Payment for this position is weekly.

Position Overview: The role involves enabling service users to become as independent as possible and to grow in confidence, competence and personal effectiveness. This includes areas such as social skills and relationships, personal care and hygiene, daily living and participating in the community. You will support service users in maintaining the safety, security and comfort of their homes. You will also assist them in claiming their full benefit entitlement, budgeting and managing their personal finances. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting service users in the administration and monitoring of prescribed medication. Your goal will be to enable service users to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, participate in the community and develop their abilities as fully as possible. Payment for this position will be made on a weekly basis.
