Pembrokeshire Direct Payments is seeking a patient, caring Supportive Personal Assistant to help a vibrant young man live life to the full. You will provide one-to-one support, encourage independence and teach essential life skills during daily activities in Pembrokeshire.
You will accompany him on visits to places of interest, support hobbies, and help him communicate effectively, while ensuring his safety during your working hours.
The Direct Payments Recipient (The Direct Payments Recipient is the employer and they hold all the employer’s responsibilities associated with this role. Pembrokeshire County Council supports them to fulfil their employer obligations).

This post is funded through the Direct Payments which is funded by the local authority. This scheme is intended to enable this young man and his family to manage his support independently by employing his own personal assistants.
The main duties to be included within this role are:
