Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting Production Operatives for its Seaham site on an ongoing temporary basis with the potential for months. You will pack frozen goods, label and package, and work in a chilled environment.

Ideally you will have experience in food production; a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is preferred and can be funded if needed. The role offers ongoing assignment and weekly pay in a clean working environment.

Job description

The Best Connection is working with our client who are a leading UK bakery chain. Due to increased workload they now have a requirement for Production Operatives to work at their site in Seaham. The roles are being offered on an ongoing temporary basis - with the potential of a number of months.

Duties will include:

• Packing frozen goods
• Labelling and packaging
• Working in a chilled area

The candidate:

• Ideally previous experience of working in a food production environment
• A level 2 food hygiene certificate would be an advantage however we can pay for your qualification

Rates of pay:

• Overtime after 39.5 hours paid at £13.71 per hour
