Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.As well as supporting individuals who have a learning
disability or who are autistic, we are specialists in
working with additional complex needs.
The service is staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated
team of Support Workers, led by an experienced
Registered Manager.
School House is situated in Surrey and provides nine en
suite bedrooms, and a self-contained flat. There are two
lounges, one of which includes a sensory room, as well
as a dining room, kitchen and surrounding garden.
The local area has an excellent range of community
facilities and amenities including parks and gardens.
This is a permanent, full time position with 37,5 contracted hours a week, working on shifts between the hours of 7am and 10pm, including weekends on rota.
