Job summary

Manpower UK Limited is recruiting a Yard Person/Forklift Driver in Stalbridge on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will load/unload cylinders with a counterbalance forklift and keep the yard well organised.

Applicants must have a valid Counterbalance forklift licence and a Category B driving licence, plus experience in a yard or warehouse setting and a solid understanding of health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift licence required (essential).
• Category B driving licence required (essential).
• Experience working in a yard, warehouse or similar setting.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and physically fit.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload gas cylinders safely using a counterbalance forklift.
• Organise and maintain the yard to a high standard.
• Carry out stock movements and basic stock checks.
• Assist with deliveries and collections as required.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Support the depot team with day-to-day operations.

Salary: £13.60 per hour

Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking

Yard Person to join our team in Stalbridge on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading gas cylinders safely using a counterbalance forklift.
• Organising and maintaining the yard to a high standard.
• Carrying out stock movements and basic stock checks.
• Assisting with deliveries and collections as required.
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Supporting the wider depot team with day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

• Valid

Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).

• Full

Category B Driving Licence (essential).

• Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, or similar environment.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit.
