Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting a Yard Person to operate a counterbalance forklift in Sturminster Newton. This temporary role offers an hourly rate of up to £13.60 with potential for permanent placement. Duties include loading/unloading gas cylinders, maintaining yard order, and assisting with deliveries.

The ideal candidate holds a valid counterbalance forklift licence and a full Category B driving licence, can work safely, and supports depot colleagues daily in a full-time, Monday-to-Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
• Full Category B Driving Licence (essential).
• Experience in yard/warehouse environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading gas cylinders safely using a counterbalance forklift.
• Organising and maintaining the yard to a high standard.
• Carrying out stock movements and basic stock checks.
• Assisting with deliveries and collections as required.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Supporting the wider depot team with day-to-day operations.
