Whilst an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair would be highly desirable, our client is open to considering candidates with no qualifications, provided they have extensive experience of building automotive engines, preferably from the classic car or motorsport industry. You will have strong knowledge of carburetors and magneto/coil ignition systems, sound mechanical knowledge gained through hands‑on experience, can project manager own work load to achieve deadlines, must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop environment, have a passionate approach to the motor trade, and be motivated to work as a team to provide a profitable and enjoyable working environment. You will also need to have a UK driving licence with minimal points, have your own basic tool kit (specialist tools provided), and live within a 30-45 minute radius of South Gloucester
(candidates located in North Bristol, Stroud, Cirencester, Gloucester, or Cheltenham would be ideal).
