Job summary

Dimensions is hiring a Female Relief Support Worker across Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Garboldisham. This zero-hour contract offers variety as you support people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to live full lives with choice and independence.

You will travel between locations, providing personal care, attending appointments, and helping with daily tasks. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, and training is provided.

  • Experience as a Support Worker or in a similar care setting.
  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, or communication needs.
  • Confident in personal care and medication support.
  • Good communication and ability to adapt to different individuals.

About the Role

Female Relief Support Worker

Zero-hour contract

£12.43 - £13.54 an hour (depending on the home where you work)

Locations: Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, and Garboldisham

Full UK driving licence with own car essential.

Looking for a role where no two days are the same? We're looking for a female Relief Support Worker to join our teams across Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Garboldisham, supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and complex support needs to live great lives filled with choice, independence and opportunity.

As a Relief Support Worker, you'll enjoy the freedom and variety of working across different homes and supporting different people, helping each person achieve the things that matter most to them. One day you might be supporting someone to build their confidence in the community, learn a new life skill or pursue a hobby they love. Another day you could be helping someone manage their home, attend appointments or enjoy time with friends and family.

You will work closely with colleagues, families and professionals to provide personalised support that promotes dignity, respect, choice and independence. Support may include:

  • Maintaining accurate digital records and support plans.

This is a flexible relief role and shifts may include days, waking nights, weekends, bank holidays and sleep‑ins, giving you the opportunity to work around your availability while making a real difference. As you'll be travelling between locations and supporting people to access their communities, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
