Job summary

Manpower UK in Stoney Stanton is seeking an operative to join our client's team. You will work 42.5 hours per week on day shifts, with 07:00–16:00 hours and 30 minutes unpaid break, plus overtime rates. Free on-site parking and full training are provided.

The role involves manual handling of gas cylinders up to 47kg, outdoor work in all weather, and strict safety and quality procedures. A full driving licence is required, and experience in production or labouring is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform manual handling of gas cylinders up to 47kg.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and maintain safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targets set by production leadership at the start of the shift.
• Safely operate processes to meet production targets; rotate on cylinder filling, maintenance and inspection.
• Load and unload cylinder vehicles as required.
• Perform cylinder re-qualification activities as requested.
• Ensure client standards are adhered to during the filling process.
• Maintain cleanliness of the yard area.

Expectations of the role

• Successful candidates will require a full driving licence.
• Experience in production, manufacture, construction, or labouring highly beneficial
• Manual handling and movement of gas cylinders up too a maximum weight of 47kgs
• Working outdoors in all weathers - resilience is key

Responsibilities

• Delivering targets set by production leadership at the start of the shift.
• Safely operate process to meet production targets. Rotate on Cylinder filling, maintenance and inspection activities as required by production leadership.
• Loading and unloading cylinder vehicles as required.
• Perform any Cylinder re-qualification activities as requested.
• Ensure client standards are adhered to during the filling process.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the yard area.
