Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Cook to join the catering team at Staveley Health Centre. You will prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals, ensuring they meet dietary requirements and are presented to a high standard.
You will work closely with clinical and catering colleagues, upholding food hygiene and temperature controls, while providing a link between catering services and the clinical area to ensure patients receive the right meal at the right time.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cook to join our catering team at Staveley Health Centre, playing an important role in supporting the health, wellbeing and overall patient experience through the delivery of a high-quality catering service.
Looking for someone to work every other weekend.
You will be responsible for the preparation, cooking and service of nutritious and appetising meals, ensuring that food is produced safely, presented to a high standard and meets individual patient dietary requirements, including therapeutic and special diets. or working with a degree of responsibility and initiative, the Cook will ensure compliance with food hygiene legislation, temperature controls and safe systems of work, while maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and food safety. You will work closely with clinical and catering colleagues, providing advice and information on menus and dietary needs and acting as a key link between the catering service and clinical area to ensure patients receive the right meal, at the right time and to the right standard.
