Job summary

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Building Surveyor to join our client's Housing Asset Management team, supporting planned maintenance and improvement works. You will inspect properties, manage building works and help deliver high-quality repairs and refurbishment programmes. Contract is for 3 months in St Albans AL1 3JE.

Pay rate: £22.49 per hour PAYE. The role requires a Building Surveying degree or HNC/HND (or equivalent experience), plus 3 years’ experience if no degree, JCT contracts

Qualifications

• Building Surveying degree or HNC/HND, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience if you do not hold a degree.
• Experience using JCT contracts and procurement processes.
• Good knowledge of building defects, repairs and maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage building surveying services for repairs, maintenance and planned improvement works.
• Inspect properties and identify building defects, recommending suitable repairs.
• Manage planned works including roofing, windows, doors, kitchens, bathrooms, balconies and cladding.
• Ensure works meet relevant building regulations, CDM requirements and housing legislation.
