Job summary

Triumph Consultants Ltd. is seeking a Building Surveyor to support Housing Services with HHSRS assessments, damp and mould, disrepair and Awaab’s Law requirements. You will inspect properties, manage remedial works and help ensure homes meet required housing standards.

The role is a 4-month contract based in Manchester. The position requires construction-related qualification or significant surveying experience, with strong knowledge of housing legislation and contractor oversight, including

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HHSRS, damp and mould, building defects and housing legislation.
• Experience managing repairs, disrepair cases or remedial works, including overseeing contractors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out property inspections, surveys and technical assessments.
• Identify and manage HHSRS hazards, damp, mould and condensation issues.
• Specify, manage and monitor remedial works through to completion.
• Support the client's response to Awaab’s Law and housing quality requirements.
• Prepare reports, manage contractors and respond to resident concerns and complaints.

Job description

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Building Surveyor to support their client's Housing Services, with a focus on HHSRS assessments, damp and mould, disrepair and Awaab’s Law requirements. You will inspect properties, manage remedial works and help ensure homes meet required housing standards. Contract is for 4 months in Manchester, M9 6NZ.

Pay Rate: £37.25 per hour PAYE

Location: Manchester, M9 6NZ

Hybrid Working: A mixture of site based, office and home working.

Full driving licence and access to a car on each working day.

Key Requirements

• Construction-related qualification or significant relevant surveying experience.
• Housing surveying experience in repairs, maintenance, social housing or asset management.
