Job summary

Triumph Consultants Ltd in Spennymoor is seeking a Pay, Reward & Employment Services Team Leader to supervise the day-to-day delivery of HR and payroll services, ensuring accurate employee changes and timely payroll processing.

This 3-month contract is hybrid, with 2 days on site and required attendance five days per induction, located at DL16 6JQ.

Qualifications

• CIPD or CIPP Level 5 qualification, or a relevant equivalent.
• Recent experience of complex HR/payroll work and employee contractual changes.
• Experience supervising and motivating staff in an HR/payroll environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, terms and conditions, and HR/payroll systems.
• Excellent organisation, problem-solving and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily team workloads, performance, training and service deadlines.
• Oversee payroll processing, balancing and contractual changes, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Provide clear HR/payroll advice to managers, schools and internal and external customers.
• Support job evaluation, restructures, pensions, system routines and user access.
• Lead service improvements and HR/payroll projects, prepare reports and deputise for the manager.

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Pay, Reward & Employment Services Team Leader

to supervise the day-to-day delivery of HR and payroll services, ensuring accurate employee changes, payroll processing and customer support. Contract is for 3 months in Spennymoor DL16 6JQ.

Pay Rate: £18.35 per hour PAYE

Location: Spennymoor DL16 6JQ

Hybrid - 2 days per week on site but must attend office 5 days per week for induction
