Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare Group is seeking an Operations Manager for our Northamptonshire CES Service Centre. You will lead the overall operations, ensuring contract delivery and P&L are optimized while guiding a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and service excellence.

You will partner with NHS commissioners to meet outcomes, drive performance, and foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement across logistics, warehouse, clinical and customer service colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior management/leadership role; healthcare experience advantageous.
  • Solid background in Operations Management within a KPI driven business.
  • Experience in logistics and warehousing.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Experience or understanding of managing Medical Devices.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal/external relationships.
  • Relentless self-motivation and drive to improve and create efficiencies.
  • P&L, budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Passion for people development and first-class leadership.
  • Ability to multitask and keep others on track under pressure.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Job description

We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to join our Northamptonshire CES Service Centre.

Millbrook Healthcare Group work in partnership with the NHS to supply the necessary equipment and aids to support people in their day to day life. This contract and service provides the supply as well as ongoing maintenance and repair of community healthcare equipment for our service users across Northamptonshire.

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of operational performance, contract delivery and P&L for the service. This will involve leading, supporting and managing the team and driving efficiencies across the service in relation to sales, costs and delivery. You will work closely with our local NHS Commissioning Partners to ensure that outcomes and quality standards are consistently met. Therefore, as well as your people management skills, your analytical skills will be required to drive performance to deliver a fantastic service for our users.

You will play a pivotal part in the success and continuing development of this contract along with the responsibility of managing and leading our most valued asset - the team of logistics, warehouse, Clinical and customer service colleagues. You will need to be highly skilled in effective communication, motivation, developing strong relationships and creating a positive learning environment.

About you:
  • Proven experience of working within a senior management/leadership role, healthcare experience would be advantageous

  • Previous logistics and warehousing experience
