Job summary

Pennine Logistics Ltd t/a A & A Couriers is seeking a long-distance Van Driver based in Kingswood, near Bristol. You will operate a 3.5 Tonne long wheelbase van delivering across the UK, with 3–5 drops per day and a start time of 6am.

Expect 8–10 hour days, Monday to Friday, with some heavy lifting and a focus on customer service. The role offers a company vehicle with fuel and insurance, and there is potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous van driving experience required.
• Good level of customer service expected.
• Valid UK category B driving licence required.
• Safety boots and high viz should be worn.
• Satnav or phone with Maps access recommended.

Job description

Long-distance Van driver based in Kingswood, Bristol.

Hiregiant are currently looking for a Van Driver to join the team in Kingswood, you will be working for one of Bristol’s largest wholesalers using a 3.5 Tonne, long wheelbase Van to complete deliveries across the UK going as far north as Durham and as far south as Cornwall.

You will be tasked with a route delivering to regular customers, usually completing between 3 to 5 drops each day. You will need to start at 6am and a typical day could be 8 to 10 hours, working Monday to Friday.

Some heavy lifting can be involved, and you will need a good level of customer service.

This is a great opportunity for regular long distance Van driving work, with an excellent company, which could also lead to a permanent position for the right person.

Hours and Pay

• £13.00 per hour paid weekly each Friday.
• Working Monday to Friday, starting at 6am and usually finished by 4pm.

Requirements

• Previous Van driving experience.
• Full UK category B driving licence.
