Job summary

Heron Foods is seeking a Duty Manager in Sheffield to lead the store team, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain store standards. The role includes keyholding responsibilities and driving daily performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

The successful candidate will bring proven leadership in retail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive, energetic approach to managing busy store operations at 27 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience as Retail Supervisor, Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, Team Manager, or Shift Manager in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Strong leadership and the ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent organisational abilities and a passion for customer service.
• Proactive, energetic approach to managing a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve queries effectively.
• Maintain a clean, well-presented, and fully stocked store.
• Drive sales and profitability by managing performance and efficiency.
• Be a keyholder and take responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager (open/close).

What You\'ll Do

As a Duty Manager, you’ll take on a key leadership role to ensure the store operates seamlessly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and motivating the team to deliver exceptional results.
