Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Flexible SEN Teaching Assistant for day-to-day supply across primary and secondary schools in Exeter. You will provide 1:1 and small group support under EHCPs and help maintain an inclusive, positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates have SEN experience, patience, strong communication, and eligibility to work in the UK with an enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply). Working hours are 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a flexible schedule.

• Adapt quickly to different school settings and requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young adults with special educational needs (in school, care, or youth work settings).
• A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to pupil engagement.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
• Right to work in the UK.
