Job summary

Randstad Education in Exeter is seeking a Flexible SEN Teaching Assistant for day-to-day supply across primary and secondary schools. You will provide 1:1 and small group support according to EHCPs, in dynamic classroom settings.

Assist teachers, support emotional regulation, sensory needs, and smooth transitions, helping pupils build independence and confidence. Working hours 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, across Exeter schools.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young adults with SEN.
• Patient, resilient, proactive pupil engagement.
• Strong communication and adaptability.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Right to work in the UK.

• Adapt quickly to different school settings and requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young adults with special educational needs (in school, care, or youth work settings).
• A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to pupil engagement.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
• Right to work in the UK.
