YMCA Robin Hood Group is seeking a Night-Time Children's Residential Care Worker to join our overnight team in Selby area. You will remain awake to look after children aged 5-18, driving to our Selby home and staying on site through night shifts.
You’ll receive training, a funded Level 4 qualification in Residential Childcare, regular supervision, and clear career progression as part of our commitment to safeguarding and nurturing trauma-informed care.
YMCA Robin Hood Group is a not-for-profit charity that runs Residential Care Homes for children aged 5-18 years old. We run 5 homes across Nottingham, Newark, Selby and Goole.
We are ready to welcome new children into our homes and are therefore looking for Night-Time Residential Care Workers to join our overnight team to provide the vital care and support they deserve.
Our 4 bed Selby home is based in YO8 and has parking available - due to the specific location of the home, you would need to drive to the home as you cannot get there by public transport.
If you have experience of working with children before either in a residential care setting or similar but are passionate about working with children, especially those who may have experienced adverse childhood experiences, we’d love to hear from you. You also need to be a natural night-owl and be able to stay away throughout your shift.
