Job summary

BPL's Your Space Dearneside is seeking a Swimming Teacher to deliver high‑quality swimming instruction and guest care. You will apply ASA or STA Level 2 qualifications, and RLSS/Lifesaving credentials, to ensure safety and enjoyable experiences for customers.

With a flexible, guest‑focused approach, you will welcome changes, support teammates, and strive to exceed daily tasks and goals while keeping spaces welcoming and safe for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Must hold ASA or STA Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification.
• Must hold RLSS National Pool Lifeguard qualification or NRASTC.
• Must pass BPL's water safety test.
• Strong guest care and customer service.
• Willing to help customers and teammates.

Job description

We are looking for a Swimming Teacher at Your Space Dearneside!

A little more about the role:

BPL is a nationally recognised swimming school. Due to our commitment, hard work and levels of training and instruction that we provide for our teachers and customers, we received a distinguished award as one of the top swimming schools in the country. If you can offer the same levels of hard work and commitment, we want to hear from you. You will be responsible for implementing high levels of guest care to ensure that the care, entertainment and satisfaction of customers is maintained at all times. You must hold the ASA or STA Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification. In addition you must hold the RLSS National Pool Lifeguard qualification or NRASTC, and be able to pass BPL's water safety test.

You'll complete daily tasks and welcome changes that help us to work better, you will be ready to jump in and help customers or your teammates anytime. You will help to make our spaces feel warm and welcoming for all. You will own your performance and work hard to meet your daily tasks and goals. You will always find new ways to make work better and help people to feel good!

Monday 16.00 - 19.30

Thursday 16.00 - 18.00
