Job summary

Stapleford Abbotts Primary Academy, part of The Kemnal Academies Trust (TKAT), seeks a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to support children with special educational needs. You will work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, one-to-one and in small groups, and help develop resources and schemes of work.

You will be part of a caring team, with opportunities for progression through the TKAT SCITT programme and a strong emphasis on wellbeing and professional growth.

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and inclusiveSEND Learning Support Assistantto join our supportive and collaborative team.

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Do you have a

patient, compassionate nature and a genuine interest in supporting their learning and development?

You will assist in the delivery of engaging and innovative teaching within the classroom, on a one-to-one basis and in small

groups. Working with the teacher you will assist with the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work and teaching

strategies to ensure provisions support individual learning needs.
