Job summary

Horizon Primary Academy, Swanley, part of TKAT, invites applications for an Extended Schools Worker to support children after school hours with engaging activities and a safe environment.

You'll be a warm communicator who enjoys teamwork and bringing energy for play-based learning, while upholding high standards of hygiene and inclusion. This 15-hour-per-week role offers induction and flexible development within TKAT.

With your engaging and friendly approach you will initiate positive play and encourage age-appropriate activities. As anExtended Schools Workeryou willcreate a purposeful and inclusive environment, you will ensure the safety and wellbeing of children is maintained at all times.

It’s not necessarily your experience as anExtended Schools Workerthat we’re most interested in, it’s your passion and commitment to our mission, ensuring every child, whatever their background, receives a high quality education.

Hours: 15 hours Monday - Friday 3.15pm - 6.15pm

The ideal Extended Schools Worker will be someone who is:

• A great communicator with a warm and encouraging manner, who develops positive relationships with young children

• Passionate, resourceful and creative about children learning through play and physical activities
• Able to promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
