Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and reviews for adults with complex needs.
• Lead treatment planning and clinical decision-making.
• Support junior medical staff and MDTs.
• Liaise with community services and external partners.

• * UK experience in Psychiatry

• * Experienced Psychiatrist with prison experience
• * Forensic and/or prison experience
• * Must have AC status
• * Section 12 approval is mandatory
• * Must be able to work independently
• * On-site only, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00( 32 hours per week /4 days)

About the Role

What We're Looking For

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Section 12/Section 22 and Approved/Responsible Clinician status (or eligibility)
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• Experience in adult mental health settings
• UK Right to Work
• A flexible, collaborative, and patient-focused approach
• CCT in Forensic Psychiatry (or within 6 months of achieving it)
