Job summary

Greggs PLC is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a shop team when the Manager isn’t present, ensuring customers have a brilliant experience whether in-store or online. You’ll supervise, motivate, and ensure product preparation and displays meet high standards while supporting a positive, inclusive culture.

You’ll be responsible for guiding staff during shifts, maintaining shop presentation, and delivering consistent service across all channels, including Click+Collect and delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment.
• Strong customer focus.
• Ability to lead a team during shifts.

• Inspire the team to maintain excellent shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers quickly and warmly.
• Prepare products including sandwiches and oven management.

About the role

You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.You'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
