Job summary

Greggs PLC is looking for a Shift Manager to lead the shop when the Store Manager isn’t on duty. You will motivate the team, ensure excellent customer service, and oversee product preparation, oven management, and display stocking.

You’ll also drive a clean, welcoming shop environment and a positive customer experience across in-store and online orders. The role offers competitive pay with weekly pay cycles, colleague discounts up to 50%, and various wellbeing and benefits programs.

Salary: £14.00 per hour which includes a 20p per hour band increment.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.You'lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
