Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support daily operations and customer service in a busy pharmacy environment. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

This role focuses on helping customers, working closely with the pharmacy team, and delivering a reputable service while you gain a recognised qualification over approximately 15 months.

Qualifications

• GCSEs A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English is desirable; can be provided as part of the course.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide prescription counter services and advice.
• Assist with housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and replenishment.
• Support delivery of public health services while gaining a Pharmacy qualification.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.
