Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy in Royal Leamington Spa is offering a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice role. You will support day-to-day pharmacy operations, help customers at the counter and work with the pharmacy team to ensure safe, efficient service. You will undertake a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

Qualifications

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.

• Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
• Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)
• Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records
• Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
• Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Future Prospects
